Background
Lysine glutarylation is a dynamic and evolutionarily conserved PTM, which impacts metabolic processes and other mitochondrial functions . Similar to acetylation and succinylation, lysine glutarylation is highly enriched in metabolic processes, such as cellular respiration, fatty acid metabolism and amino acid metabolism.
